Here in this post, I explain how to fix error code E110 in Canon imageRunner ir3570, ir4570, ir3030, ir3530, ir2870 series, which should solve your problem. We are sharing a few methods to fix the error, so check them one by one until it gets solved.

Meaning of the e110 error code

The error code E110 means the scanner motor speed lock signal does not indicate a locked state a specific time after the scanner motor has been started.

Maintenance sign means that the copier needs to be well serviced or something has to be replaced like Consumables such as drum, blade, fuser rollers, and developer, etc. If you are sure that you replaced the correct parts, or the machine doesn't need to replace any part, then you can continue to clear the sign.

How to fix the error

Maybe a problem with and Laser shutter cable, check the ground clip that contacts the metal registration roller just below the drum unit. Reform it and put some conductive grease between it and the roller. I have seen this clip because of laser errors, wavy lines from the laser.

Also, make sure the shutter is not stuck or not opening. When you open the right door shutter blocks the laser path. If the actuator on the door is broken, when you close the door the shutter won't open. Make sure the front door interlock and right door interlocks are okay.

Some of the possible cause:

• Check the wire.
• Registration sensor.
• Laser unit.
•  DC Controller.
•  Main Power Supply.
• Clean the laser connector assembly (intermediate plug at rear). I have seen toner seep into them and cause shorts.
• You need to check all the connections between DC Controller, laser unit and Main Power Supply, and Laser shutter cable.
