Meaning of the error code

The error code is for the fixing assembly not getting to the correct temperature in a specified time. The reading of the main thermistor is less than 30 deg C continuously for 200 msec or more 1 sec after the start of power supply. While start-up control is underway, the reading of the main thermistor is less than 70 deg C continuously for 200 msec or more 2 sec after 2 sec the start of power supply. While start-up control is underway, the reading of the main thermistor is less than 70 deg C continuously for 200 msec or more 2 sec after 6 sec the start of power supply. The start-up control does not end 30 sec after the start of the power supply. The Fuser code needs to be reset in the service mode. It is easy to do.

How to fix the error code?

Do not worry if you get this error, you can fix it in some of the simplest processes. Follow the steps below:

Note: Something as simple as a momentary variation in the power to the plug the device is plugged into can cause this code as the plug voltage and/or frequency is sufficient to interfere with the copies’ ability to track the temp.

1. Additional Functions: Press the Additional Functions (*) button once.
2. Two and Eight Buttons: Press the 2 and 8 buttons at the same time once.
3. Additional Functions: Press the Additional Functions (*) button once again.
4. Select Copier: The System Management screen will open. Touch the Copier button on the screen.
5. Touch the function: Touch the Function button at the top of the screen.
6.  Touch the clear: Touch the Clear button on the screen.
7. Touch the ERR: Touch the ERR button to highlight it.
8.  Press the ok: Click the OK button at the bottom of the screen.
9. Then switch off the machine and turn the power back ON at the power socket and the code should reset. The machine will process for 2 minutes.

Even if the above fixes are shown in error code. Then check these all things.

• Check fixing unit: the temperature detected by the main or sub thermistor does not rise to the specified value during start-up control. You will check the fixing assembly for jammed paper, or damage to the fixing film. Replacing the film is not hard. After you remove the fixing assembly. Check the continuity of heater element thermal switch and fixing assembly connector with a multimeter; if it is not showing continuity replace it. After you replace the part, you have to reset the machine in serves mode COPIER.
