Meaning of the Error Code:

Fusing temperature warm-up error, The fusing temperature does not reach the fusing standby temperature of 45oC (113oF) within 9 seconds for the B135 (35cpm) 14 seconds for the B138 (45cpm) after switching on the main power or closing the front cover, or 40 seconds after reaching 50oC the fusing roller does not reach warm-up temperature. You will have to do now to reset your error code

The maintenance sign means that The copier needs to be well serviced and checked if something is to be replaced. Consumables such as drum, blade, fuser rollers, and developer are changed at such times. If you are sure that you have replaced the correct part or nothing is to be replaced, then you can proceed to clear the sign.

How to fix the error code?

You need to go into service and clear the error then reset.

1. Press the yellow clear button: pressing the yellow clear button on the panel
2. Press 107:  press 1, 0, 7 on the keypad and then
3. Press the stop button: hold the stop button for 10 seconds until you get a new screen.
4. Touch 'COPY SP: touch COPY SP' on the touch screen you will be into service modes.
5. Press the number 5810: press on the operation panel keypad 5810,
6. Press the # button: press on the operation panel keypad # and then press "Execute"
7. All you will have to do now to reset your error has simply switched the machine off at the main red switch and ON

If that does not work, you need to check these all

• Hot roller out of position fusing lamp broken.
• The thermistor is bad: sometimes when the power drops out the thermistor will play up a little. Sometimes this can be caused by toner being caked up on the thermistor.
• You may have a faulty thermal fuse.
• Poor fusing unit connector.
• BICU defective.
• Check the Power supply board defective.

After you replace the part, then you have to reset the machine in service mode COPIER.
