Meaning of the error code

The C-4401 codes mean the Polygon motor in the Print Head Assembly fails. Inside the laser, there is a motor called the Polygon Motor, which has a very high speed of 35000 plus rpm. This code will not reset from the panel.

Some Possible causes:

• Check the connections to the laser unit. Unplug and re-plug all connections, and if the problem persists, you have to replace the Polygon motor or laser unit.
• Laser drive board
• Printer control board
