The E161-4050 error code is for purge motor failure. Maybe the printer does not have enough ink or you have a bad ink cartridge, you need to replace the ink cartridge.
Follow the procedure below for possible reasons:
- Replace the ink cartridge.
- Replace Print head.
- Check and clean and reseat all the connectors. Check for connecting the Flex Cable Carriage Relay to the PCB using the main controller and the relay.
- Check the supply of ink from the ink tank to the print head.
- Check the gears by turning the unit upside down. replace the purge unit.
