I've been using generic cartridges for a couple of years now on my Canon TS5060, and up until the other day when I replaced the cyan, I had no problem. I took out the generic cyan cartridge and put a new one of the exact brand, but this time it came up with support code 1660, thus not being recognised. When I put the old cartridge back in, low and behold, it didn't recognise that either, even though it had been in there for 3 months. Can I override this so I don't have to throw out my new generic cartridges and pay exorbitant prices for genuine ones?
